Just like last year, I'll be volunteering as mechanical support before the start of the sixth annual Tour de Heifer, this Sunday, June 5th. Billed as a collection of "Vermont's most challenging dirt road rides", there are three routes to choose from: 60, 30 and 15 miles, all of which follow dirt roads with minimal pavement. Plus, there will be great food and drink after the ride, from the likes of Hermit Thrush Brewery and Rigani Pizza!
This is such a great event with some of the best ride routes around Brattleboro, and it gets better every year. Proceeds benefit local farms, and the event is part of the annual Strolling of the Heifers weekend. Hope to see you there!
